Overview:
Qualcomm is seeking a motivated and skilled Audio DSP Software Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in embedded systems and digital signal processors (DSPs). The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in C/C++, with a solid foundation in computer architecture, RTOS, and experience in audio/voice applications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize and maintain software for DSP platforms.
- Develop and enhance drivers and frameworks to support new audio use cases.
- Design and implement drivers for various audio interfaces including I2S, HDMI, and SPDIF.
- Lead and contribute to cross-functional design discussions and software development initiatives.
- Perform software maintenance and debugging in real-time operating systems.
Technical Skills & Expertise:
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming and real-time debugging.
- Experience with DSP/embedded processors and related development tools (e.g., Trace32, JTAG).
- Strong understanding of multi-threaded programming.
- Audio/Voice application development including:
- Playback, recording, streaming.
- Circuit-switched (CS) and packet-switched (PS) voice calls.
- Experience with audio/speech pre-processing and post-processing:
- Echo cancellation, noise suppression, audio effects.
- Familiarity with audio compression standards:
- MP3, AAC, FLAC, AMR, EVS, etc.
- Skills in performance optimization for MIPS and memory usage.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in DSP-based software development.
